The start of a journey

Think I should start with, I am well over 100 pd over weight, I started putting on weight the first 10-12 years we have lived in Washington (cold winters sigh~).. The last 5-7 I have been sitting in this zone of about 30 lbs, I would lose, then gain, lose, gain.... but I have not been able to break past that !  About a year & half ago, I started walking, but only a couple days a week at work & maybe 10-15. I have steadily increased my walking. I have manage to drive my insulin down from 80 to 30. But I am also using another Diabetes med to help that. Despite walking 1-2 miles 4-6 days a week now & watching my food, I was still not losing. I have been very discourage.. even my Doc & nutritionist are not sure why I am not losing.. but my numbers are good, BS are great so they want me to continue on my path...

I have tried quite a few diet plans, researched that many more. So many drastically cut calories, These were not recommended by my nutritionist,  she would not let me use any plan that cut calorie drastically, what she wanted was a well balanced diet & exercise. Which is what I had in place already,my Daughter knowing I needed to increase my walking, gave me a wonderful gift on my Birthday (March), a Jawbone UP, I was so excited! So this has been a great motivator for me, I love seeing all my steps each day & sleep!  I had already committed to the Run or Dye walk run coming in July, so I had a goal to walk a 5K with ease. Haven't walk one recently, but I believe I am ready to do this! Stay tune more on that in a later post. But with all of this I still wasn't losing grrrrrr Doc ran some test, trying to figure out why I'm not losing,  everything's normal (yippee!). ok Time to give Plexus a chance, after all, money back guarantee for 60 days.

8 weeks ago I started a journey with Plexus, When I started, I only knew that it was a very healthy (lots of nutrients) & that I would lose weight! Week 1... I weighed myself at one week & had gained 4lbs! Week 2... at the end of week 2, I was now up 7 lbs, can you see discouragement! Again my consultant reassured me to stay the course. Told me to stay off the scale, I am really bad about the scale, Mostly because that is how the Doctors measure us. hmmm I am my own worse enemy. I also then realized I am a diabetic, with a major wound on my leg, that's healing & will be for the next 4 or 5 weeks... water retention too drink more water! Ok I will stay the course. sigh~

Week 3... Was healing, feeling a bit better, energy starting appearing, random stuff like , hmmm I want to take another walk tonight. I also notice I was not caring about coffee in the morning. My taste seem to be changing, wasn't as hungry. weight stay the same... I did measure & there was 5 inches gone... a baby step. I am also working hard at my thoughts, it's been on my radar for awhile now. Feeling change... need to drink more water :) & remember to stay the course.

Week 4...3 weeks after my Tattoo, healing seems slow, so I decide to pick up a good immunity booster, I started feeling better, but I was just bouncing up & down on the scale.. ok I know I should just stay off. but dang it, I am frustrated! Week 5... Energy is super noticeable now, it's like WOW! I am waking up feeling like I am ready to engage with the world, how wonderful to wake that way.. Week 6... is about the same as week 5, loving the energy, noticing, that I really am not very hungry, nor am I caring about sweets, only a few sips of coffee in the morning..I am finding lots of Bathrooms... I am drinking my water! Walking is getting fun, really enjoy taking Dixie out. effort is less & I feel like I got a spring in my steps.. still sleeping great! weight about the same.... it's about staying the course...

Week 7 ... well I am down 1 pound finally YIPPEEE, this body is one stubborn bitch, But I feel so fabulous, I feel lighter, shirts feel a bit looser, like in the arms, across the belly, pants do too!

Week 8.. I am now down 3 lb, I have broke the number! ok that feels good. I know that Plexus is a great product, I honestly can say, energy is fabulous!, food cravings curved!, Sleep is fabulous! This Weekend has been filled with energy!
